Copernicia baileyana seed

Copernicia is a genus comprised of 25 species of moderate to large fan-leafed palms indigenous to Cuba, Hispaniola and South America.  Although most species of Copernicia are slow growing many develop into impressive trees with massive trunks an a crown of stiffly bright green fronds.
